Principal's Welcome

Welcome to Wren Academy Enfield

It is with great pleasure that I welcome youWren Enfield 034 to Wren Academy Enfield.  Since opening our doors in September 2020 with our inaugural Year 7 cohort, we have made significant strides in both academic achievement and the personal development of our students.  We are now excited to reach full secondary school capacity, a milestone that coincides with our first cohort of students preparing to sit their GCSE exams.

Starting with just one year group has allowed us to carefully nurture the growth and development of the school.  Our staff have worked tirelessly to establish a strong vision and ethos, ensuring that all students thrive in a supportive and enriching learning environment.  We are eagerly preparing for the launch of our Sixth Form in September 2025, which will offer students the opportunity to continue their education and explore a wide range of A Level options, as we build a Sixth Form that will support their academic and personal growth into adulthood.

Wren Academy Enfield has been built on the same foundation that has led Wren Academy Finchley to rank among the top 2% of schools in the country for GCSE results.  While replicating these successful features, we have also focused on creating a unique ethos tailored to meet the needs of our own student community.  Our success is driven by a close knit and inclusive community, deeply rooted in a strong Christian ethos.  Inspired by the story of Jesus and Zacchaeus, we are committed to providing an environment where every individual can flourish and reach their full potential.  Our core values, as expressed in Micah 6:8, guide us in everything we do:

Do justice, love kindness, walk humbly with your God - Micah 6v8

At Wren Academy Enfield, we focus on the holistic development of every student ensuring that they are equipped to achieve their full potential, regardless of their starting point.  We are creating a school environment where students feel happy, confident and secure, enabling them to take full advantage of the opportunities before them.  The strong relationships between staff and students, as well as the exceptional peer support, foster a community where everyone uplifts and encourages one another.  It is these priorities which leads to academic excellence.

As someone who was born, raised and educated right here in Enfield, I feel an immense sense of pride in being able to give back to the community that shaped me.  This is why I am dedicated to ensuring that each student who joins us reaches their full academic potential, so they are prepared to make a positive impact in the world and lead a fulfilling life.

I hope you are able to spend more time exploring the website to find out more about the education offered at Wren Academy Enfield.
